Ashmead Jumadeen, born on October 25, 1971, is a former West Indian cricketer renowned for his skills as a left-handed batsman and part-time right-arm off-spin bowler. He made his debut for the West Indies national team in 1992 and quickly became known for his agile batting style and ability to stabilize the innings during challenging match situations.
Jumadeen's international career, spanning over a decade, included significant contributions in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Test matches. He is particularly remembered for his performances in the 1996 Cricket World Cup, where he played a pivotal role in the West Indies' campaign. Throughout his career, he amassed over 3,000 runs in ODIs and showcased his prowess in various domestic leagues, solidifying his reputation as a reliable cricketer.
