Aubrey Dawkins, born on May 8, 1995, in Huntington, West Virginia, is a professional basketball player from the United States. A standout athlete at the University of Michigan, he gained recognition for his scoring ability and versatility on the court. Throughout his collegiate career, Dawkins contributed significantly to the Wolverines' success, including a deep NCAA tournament run.
After transferring to the University of Central Florida (UCF) for his final season, Dawkins flourished under head coach Johnny Dawkins, his father. During the 2018-2019 season, he averaged 15.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, leading UCF to its first-ever NCAA tournament victory.
