Barney Poole (October 29, 1923 – March 10, 2019) was an American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) primarily for the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers. After playing college football at the University of Mississippi, Poole was selected in the 1945 NFL Draft and made an immediate impact in the league.
