Bert Bisgood, born on March 11, 1881, in Alton, Hampshire, was a prominent English cricketer known for his all-round capabilities. He made his first-class debut for Hampshire in 1902 and quickly established himself as a key player in the team. Bisgood was primarily recognized for his left-handed batting and right-arm slow bowling, which made him an invaluable asset throughout his career.
Throughout his tenure in first-class cricket, which spanned nearly two decades until 1920, Bisgood accumulated over 7,000 runs and secured more than 400 wickets.
