Biography
Bill Copson (born April 27, 1908) was a prominent English cricketer known for his skills as a right-arm fast bowler. Playing for Derbyshire between 1928 and 1949, Copson emerged as a key figure in the team's bowling attack, renowned for his speed and ability to swing the ball. His first-class career spanned over two decades, during which he took more than 1,000 wickets, establishing himself as one of the leading bowlers in English cricket of his era.
