Biography
Bill Cubit, born on October 14, 1953, is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). After a successful collegiate career at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was known for his strong arm and leadership skills, Cubit was selected by the New York Jets in the 8th round of the 1975 NFL Draft. He went on to play for the Jets and later had brief stints with the Houston Oilers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Throughout his professional career, Cubit was primarily utilized as a backup quarterback, contributing to his teams' offensive strategies during crucial moments.
