Bill Fairbairn, born on January 7, 1947, in Vancouver, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his significant contributions to the sport during the 1970s and early 1980s. A skilled right winger, Fairbairn played in the National Hockey League (NHL) primarily with the New York Rangers, where his consistent scoring ability and physical play made him a key player for the team. He was recognized for his robust style of play, combining skill with tenacity, which earned him a reputation as a formidable player on the ice.
