Bill Munson, born on August 11, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, was an American football quarterback who made significant contributions to the National Football League (NFL) during the 1960s and 1970s. He played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he showcased his talent and earned attention from professional scouts. Munson was selected in the fourth round of the 1963 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions, marking the beginning of a notable professional career.
