Bill Peteras is a retired American professional basketball player known for his impactful career in both the National Basketball Association (NBA) and international leagues. Born on March 15, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois, he began his basketball journey at the University of Illinois, where he was recognized for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. His collegiate performance culminated in him being selected 12th overall in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.
