Blair Walsh, born on January 8, 1990, in Boca Raton, Florida, is a former American football placekicker known for his tenure in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Georgia, where he gained recognition for his powerful leg and accuracy, setting several school records. Walsh was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
During his rookie season, Walsh made an immediate impact, converting 35 of 38 field goal attempts and setting a franchise record with a 56-yard field goal, which was among the longest in NFL history at that time.
