Blake Orban, born on January 28, 1994, is a Canadian ice hockey defenseman known for his defensive skills and physical play. He began his junior career in the WHL with the Edmonton Oil Kings, where he developed a notable reputation for his strong two-way game and leadership abilities, serving as an alternate captain during his final season with the team. Orban was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 7th round, 191st overall, of the 2012 NHL Draft.
Following his junior career, Orban transitioned to the professional ranks and played in the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL, honing his skills with various teams, including the Manchester Monarchs and the Ontario Reign.
