Bob Jeter, born on May 9, 1937, in Gary, Indiana, was a prominent American football player who made significant contributions to the National Football League (NFL) as a cornerback and kick returner. He played college football at the University of Iowa, where his exceptional athleticism and skills garnered attention from NFL scouts. Jeter was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 1962 NFL Draft.
