Bob Tate is a former professional American football player who played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on March 17, 1985, in Richmond, Virginia, and attended the University of Florida, where he excelled on the college football team. Tate declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season and was selected in the third round by the New York Giants in 2007.
