Boyd Dowler, born on October 18, 1937, in Wausau, Wisconsin, was a professional American football player who achieved prominence as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). Dowler played college football at the University of Michigan, where he showcased his skills and was selected in the 1959 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers in the second round. He quickly became a key component of the Packers' offense during the team's dominant era in the 1960s.
During his tenure with the Packers from 1959 to 1969, Dowler played a pivotal role in the team's success, contributing to five NFL Championships and two Super Bowl victories, including Super Bowl I and Super Bowl II.
