Brian Baschnagel is a former American football wide receiver born on January 8, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois. He played college football at the University of Illinois, where he developed into a skilled receiver, ultimately drawing the attention of professional scouts. Baschnagel was selected in the eighth round of the 1976 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears.
During his NFL career, which spanned from 1976 to 1982, Baschnagel played primarily with the Chicago Bears and briefly with the New Orleans Saints.
