Brooks Macek is a German-Canadian professional ice hockey forward, born on May 15, 1992, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He began his junior career in the WHL with the Vancouver Giants, where he contributed significantly to the team and helped secure the 2010 Memorial Cup. Macek was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the sixth round, 175th overall, of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, marking the onset of his professional career.
Macek made his professional debut in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Grand Rapids Griffins, further developing his skills and showcasing his talent on North American ice.
