Calvin Pace is a former American football linebacker born on October 28, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan. He played college football at Murray State University, where he exhibited exceptional athletic prowess, leading to his selection in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. During his tenure with the Cardinals, he became known for his versatility and leadership on the field, making significant contributions to the team’s defense.
Pace spent the first eight seasons of his professional career with the Arizona Cardinals, where he recorded 36.5 sacks and established himself as a reliable starter. In 2008, he signed with the New York Jets, further enhancing his reputation as a formidable linebacker. Over his six seasons with the Jets, he continued to excel, accumulating over 30 sacks and playing a crucial role in the team's run to the AFC Championship game in 2009 and 2010.
