Carl Grundström is a Swedish professional ice hockey player born on December 1, 1997, in Norrköping, Sweden. He began his junior career in the HV71 organization, where he showcased significant talent and contributed to the team's success in the Swedish junior leagues. Following his development in the youth system, Grundström made his professional debut in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) during the 2015-2016 season.
In 2016, Grundström was selected 57th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft. He subsequently joined the Kings' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Ontario Reign, where he continued to build his skills.
