Chad Marshall, born on August 22, 1984, in Riverside, California, is a retired American football player renowned for his defensive capabilities as a central defender. He showcased his talent at the collegiate level playing for Stanford University, where he earned multiple accolades, including All-Pac-10 honors. His impressive performance at Stanford propelled him into the professional sphere as he was selected fourth overall in the 2004 Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft by the Columbus Crew.
