Chandu Borde, born on July 21, 1934, in Pune, India, was a distinguished cricketer known for his solid batting skills and versatile contributions to Indian cricket. He made his Test debut for India in 1958 and represented the national team in 55 Test matches between 1958 and 1969. Borde was a right-handed batsman and occasional off-spin bowler, achieving remarkable success on the field with significant contributions in various matches.
Throughout his international career, Borde scored over 2,000 runs, including five centuries and 10 half-centuries.
