Charith Senanayake, born on December 19, 1962, in Sri Lanka, is a former cricketer who represented the Sri Lankan national team as a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a lower-order batsman. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut in 1982 against Pakistan, becoming known for his pace and ability to swing the ball. Over the course of his career, Senanayake participated in 39 ODIs, taking 31 wickets with an average of 36.54.
