Chester Marcol, born on October 24, 1949, in Włocławek, Poland, is a former American football placekicker who gained prominence in the National Football League (NFL). Immigrating to the United States in the 1960s, he developed a passion for football while attending high school in Michigan, eventually earning a scholarship to the University of Detroit. Marcol was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 17th round of the 1972 NFL Draft, marking the beginning of a notable professional career.
