Biography
Chris Casey is a former professional American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). Born on July 14, 1987, in Phoenix, Arizona, he attended the University of Southern California, where he was a standout player and contributed to the team’s success in collegiate football. After a notable college career, he was selected in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
During his time with the Giants, Casey emerged as a key defensive player, known for his exceptional tackling skills and defensive awareness. He played a pivotal role in the team's run to victory in Super Bowl XLVI, helping secure a championship against the New England Patriots in February 2012. Over the course of his NFL career, he also played for the San Diego Chargers and the Miami Dolphins, accumulating over 300 tackles and several sacks.
