Chris Hoke, born on April 6, 1976, is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He was raised in Turlock, California, and went on to attend California State University, Fresno, where he earned recognition for his strong playing ability. Hoke entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2001 when he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
