Chris Leak, born on May 3, 1985, in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a former professional American football quarterback. He gained prominence at the University of Florida, where he led the Gators to a national championship victory in 2006, becoming the first Florida quarterback to win the title since 1996. Leak was recognized for his remarkable passing ability and leadership on the field, completing his college career with numerous school records.
