Chris Rix (born May 1, 1981) is a former American football quarterback who gained recognition for his college career at Florida State University before playing in the National Football League (NFL). During his tenure at Florida State from 2000 to 2003, Rix showcased his skills as a strong-armed passer, leading the team to several successful seasons, and earning All-ACC honors in 2002. He concluded his college career with a total of 6,000 passing yards and 49 touchdown passes.
Rix was selected in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers, although he faced challenges in securing a stable position as a starting quarterback in the league.
