Chris Zorich, born on March 13, 1969, is a former professional American football player who garnered recognition as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he was an integral part of the Fighting Irish's national championship team in 1988. Zorich was selected in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, solidifying his entry into the league.
During his NFL career, which spanned from 1991 to 1996, Zorich played primarily for the Chicago Bears, where he earned a reputation as a vigorous and reliable defensive player.
