Chuck Smyrl is a former American football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Born on March 3, 1936, in New York City, New York, Smyrl attended the University of Southern California, where he was a standout player on the college football team. He was drafted in the 12th round of the 1958 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles.
