Clarke Hinkle was an American football player born on April 10, 1909, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He attended Lafayette College, where he honed his skills as a standout halfback and linebacker. Hinkle was selected in the 1932 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, where he would go on to make a significant impact in the league.
During his career with the Packers from 1932 to 1941, Hinkle was known for his exceptional rushing ability and versatility on the field. He was a three-time NFL All-Pro and was named to the first-ever Pro Bowl in 1939, solidifying his status as one of the premier players of his era.
