Biography
Corky Cox, born on January 15, 1963, in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a retired American professional basketball player. He played college basketball at the University of Arkansas, where he was known for his scoring ability and tenacious defense. After an impressive college career, Cox was selected in the second round of the 1985 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs.
During his six-year professional career, Cox played for several teams in the NBA and Continental Basketball Association (CBA). He averaged 12.8 points per game and was recognized for his versatility as a shooting guard and small forward. Notable highlights of his career include a breakout season in 1987, where he helped lead the Spurs to the playoffs and secured a spot on the CBA All-Star team in 1989.
