Craig Heyward, born on September 26, 1966, was a professional American football player who gained prominence as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a standout athlete and earned All-American honors. After an impressive collegiate career, Heyward was selected in the 10th round of the 1988 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.
