Cris Collinsworth, born on January 27, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, is a former American football wide receiver and current sports commentator. He played college football at the University of Florida, where he was recognized as an All-American, showcasing his exceptional skills and agility on the field. Collinsworth was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 1981 NFL Draft, where he quickly made a name for himself as a key player.
During his NFL career, Collinsworth played for the Bengals from 1981 to 1988, earning three Pro Bowl selections and being named a First-team All-Pro in 1988.
