Biography
Cyril Douglas-Pennant was a prominent English cricketer born on April 7, 1894, in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex. He was educated at Eton College and later attended Trinity College, Oxford, where he further honed his cricketing skills. Douglas-Pennant was known for his right-handed batting and played as a middle-order batsman, making significant contributions to his teams during his career.
He made his first-class debut in 1910 and went on to play for Sussex County Cricket Club from 1912 to 1925. Douglas-Pennant accumulated a notable batting average of over 30, with his highest score being 165 runs.
