D. J. Shockley, born on March 23, 1983, in Riverdale, Georgia, is a former professional American football quarterback. He played college football at the University of Georgia, where he gained recognition for his impressive athleticism and leadership on the field. Shockley led the Bulldogs to an SEC Championship in 2005, earning the prestigious title of MVP of the 2005 SEC Championship Game.
After college, Shockley was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
