Dajuan Wagner is a former professional basketball player born on February 4, 1983, in Camden, New Jersey. He gained prominence as a standout high school athlete at Camden High School, where he was recognized as one of the top prospects in the nation. Wagner subsequently attended the University of Memphis, where he made a significant impact during his freshman season, averaging 21.0 points per game and leading the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament.

Selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the 6th overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft, Wagner began his professional career amidst high expectations.
