Damien Mama was born on June 27, 1995, in San Diego, California. He gained recognition as an offensive lineman during his college career at the University of Southern California (USC), where he played three seasons from 2014 to 2016. Following his tenure at USC, Mama declared for the 2017 NFL Draft.
