Damir Buljević, born on September 22, 1965, in Croatia, is a former professional tennis player known for his contributions to the sport during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He turned professional in 1982 and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 34 in March 1990. Buljević was recognized for his strong baseline play and athleticism throughout his career.
During his time on the ATP Tour, Buljević reached the singles quarterfinals in several prestigious tournaments, including the French Open in 1989, showcasing his capability on clay courts. He also had notable success in doubles, where he achieved a highest ranking of World No. 29 and won one ATP title.
