Dan Koppen, born on September 12, 1979, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, is a former professional American football center who had a notable career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Boston College, where he established himself as a reliable offensive player and demonstrated strong leadership skills. Koppen entered the NFL when he was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
During his tenure with the Patriots from 2003 to 2011, Koppen became an integral part of the team's success, securing two Super Bowl championships in Super Bowl XXXVIII and Super Bowl XLIX.
