Biography
Dan Mettlach is a former American football offensive lineman who played in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Born on January 10, 1955, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he played college football at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he gained recognition for his skill and durability on the offensive line. Mettlach was selected in the 6th round of the 1977 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.
During his professional career, Mettlach played for the Miami Dolphins and the San Diego Chargers, becoming known for his versatility and strong blocking abilities.
