Biography
Dan Mueller is a retired professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Born on January 15, 1985, in Little Rock, Arkansas, he showcased remarkable talent during his high school years at Central High School, where he led the team to a state championship. After graduating, he played college basketball at the University of Arkansas, where he earned All-American honors and was named to the All-SEC First Team in his senior year.
Mueller was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks and subsequently played for several teams throughout his professional career, including the Portland Trail Blazers and the Miami Heat. He gained a reputation for his sharpshooting ability and defensive prowess, contributing to his teams’ success during crucial playoff runs. Throughout his NBA career, Mueller averaged 12.8 points per game, with a career-high of 25 points in a single game against the Boston Celtics in 2011.
