Daniela Hantuchová, born on April 23, 1983, in Poprad, Slovakia, is a former professional tennis player and a prominent figure in Slovak sports history. Turning professional in 1999, Hantuchová quickly gained recognition for her powerful playing style and versatility on various surfaces. She achieved her highest singles ranking of world No. 5 in March 2003, marking a significant milestone in her career.
