Biography
Da'Quan Bowers, born on February 23, 1990, in Bamberg, South Carolina, is a former professional American football defensive end. He played college football at Clemson University, where he garnered national attention for his exceptional performance, including being named a consensus All-American in 2010. Bowers declared for the NFL Draft after his junior year and was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2011 Draft.
During his rookie season with the Buccaneers, Bowers demonstrated his potential by recording 25 tackles and 1.5 sacks. His breakout year came in 2012, when he notched 7.0 sacks, showcasing his ability to disrupt opposing offenses. Despite displaying promise early in his career, injuries hindered Bowers' consistency and longevity in the league, leading to his eventual release from the Buccaneers in 2015.
