Biography
Darius Slay was born on January 1, 1991, in Brunswick, Georgia. He played college football at Mississippi State University, where he emerged as one of the top defensive backs in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Slay was selected by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft, marking the beginning of a distinguished professional career.
During his tenure with the Lions from 2013 to 2019, Slay quickly established himself as a premier cornerback in the league. He was named to the Pro Bowl in three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019 and earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2017.
