Darren McClure is a retired professional basketball player known for his prolific scoring and playmaking abilities. Born on January 15, 1985, in Charleston, South Carolina, he played his collegiate basketball at the University of South Carolina, where he earned All-SEC honors and led his team in scoring during his junior and senior years. After declaring for the NBA Draft, McClure was selected in the second round by the New York Knicks in 2007.
