Dave Krieg, born on October 20, 1958, in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is a former professional American football quarterback who had a distinguished career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Milton College before going undrafted in the 1980 NFL Draft. Krieg gained prominence primarily with the Seattle Seahawks, where he served as the team's starting quarterback and was known for his resilience and competitive spirit.
Throughout his 19-season NFL career, Krieg played for several teams, including the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Detroit Lions. He was selected for the Pro Bowl three times and set multiple franchise records during his tenure with the Seahawks, including career touchdown passes and passing yards.
