Dave Nonis, born on May 25, 1966, in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player and notable executive in the sport's management. Nonis played as a defenseman and spent the majority of his playing career in the minor leagues, including stints in the International Hockey League (IHL) and the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). Although he did not achieve significant success at the NHL level as a player, his contributions to ice hockey continued through various administrative roles.
