Dave Rimington, born on May 22, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska, is a former professional American football player renowned for his role as a center in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Nebraska, where he was a standout player for the Cornhuskers and earned consensus All-American honors in 1981. Rimington was celebrated for his exceptional skills and was awarded the prestigious Rimington Trophy, which recognizes the nation's top collegiate center.
Rimington was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals as the second overall pick in the 1983 NFL Draft.
