David Downs is a retired professional rugby league player from New Zealand, known for his versatility and skill on the field. Born on April 15, 1985, in Auckland, Downs made his debut in the National Rugby League (NRL) in 2005 with the Auckland Warriors. Over the course of his career, he established himself as a prominent player, primarily occupying the positions of fullback and center.
Throughout his career, Downs played for several clubs in both New Zealand and Australia, including stints with the Canterbury Bulldogs and the Melbourne Storm.
