David Shepherd is a former English cricketer born on December 27, 1940, in Wandsworth, London. A right-handed batsman and occasional leg-spin bowler, Shepherd made his first-class debut for Sussex in 1960. Shepherd was a key player for the England team, earning 5 Test caps between 1968 and 1970, during which he showcased his ability to adapt to various playing conditions.
