Biography
Debabrata Paul, born on January 28, 1981, is a former Bangladeshi cricketer known for his contributions to the national team as a middle-order batsman. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Bangladesh on July 10, 2005, and quickly became recognized for his technique and composure at the crease. Over his career spanning from 2005 to 2014, Paul played in a total of 39 ODIs, where he accumulated 1,012 runs, including one century and six half-centuries.
In addition to his ODI career, Debabrata Paul also represented Bangladesh in Test cricket, making his debut in 2008 against South Africa. He participated in 9 Test matches, scoring 325 runs with a top score of 82. His performances in both formats contributed to Bangladesh's development as a competitive cricketing nation during the early 2000s.
